Take a Valentine-Themed Scenic Train Ride in Arkansas

The month of February promises to be fabulous in the state of Arkansas thanks to the Arkansas and Missouri Railroad especially if you are looking for adventure and romance.

Beginning on February 3, the Arkansas and Missouri Railroad is offering Valentine-themed rides where you can take your significant other on a romantic scenic journey through the beautiful mountains, over tressels, through tunnels, and the heavily wooded rugged forest of the Boston and Ozark mountain range in Northwest Arkansas.

There is just really something special about riding on a train and the Arkansas and Missouri Railroad will not disappoint. Each railcar is tastefully decorated with Valentine's balloons and decor that will set the mood with your beloved sweetheart.

Valentine Excursions

Romancing the Rails Feb. 3 and Feb. 10

Departure - 11 AM and 1:30 PM

This enjoyable train ride starts in Springdale and winds up in Winslow with a hot lunch included on the premium cars. Upgrades are available for coach cars and lunch.

Love Train Feb. 14

Departure - 6:30 PM

Couples can hop onboard the "Love Train" on Valentine's Day for one of the most romantic journeys in the Natural State. This ride is from Springdale to Fayetteville and includes a romantic candlelit dinner on the premium cars. Upgrades are also available to coach and dinner.

Oops I Forgot - Feb. 17

Departure - 4 PM

There's even a special train ride on February 17, from Springdale to Winslow for those who may have forgotten their loved one on Valentine's Day. It's called, "Oops I Forgot" and it offers some of the same deals as the others mentioned above.

The Arkansas and Missouri Railroad excursions have become a very popular destination in the state for those looking for adventure in these beautiful scenic train rides no matter what time of the year. Train excursions are approximately 2 hours round-trip.
