Today the world heard of the attack on an upscale mall in Nairobi, Kenya by Al-Shabab militants.

According to a CNN report, the “attackers have killed at least 68 people, injured 175, and are believed to still be holding about 10 people hostage."

Christena Dowsett, a former Texarkana Gazette photographer who now works as a freelance photojournalist based in Nairobi, Kenya, talked with Selinah Kioko who was there when Al Shabab terrorists took control of the building.
