Texarkana get ready for "Tacos N' Tunes" at the 19th Annual Songwriters on the Edge of Texas Golf Tournament and Concert on Sunday, September 22 -23, 2024, at the Northridge Country Club.
Songwriters on the Edge of Texas
The Songwriters on the Edge of Texas Golf Tournament and Concert is benefiting CASA for Children and the Texarkana Children's Advocacy Center.
Kick-off Concert
On Sunday, September 22, at 5 PM at the Northridge Country Club, there will be a tournament kick-off concert featuring Texas artist Cody Canada and The Departed with special guest local musician Trey Johnson.
A special Taco Bar will be catered by Tamolly's Mexican Restaurant with the purchase of a concert ticket. Go here to purchase tickets to see Cody Canada.
Golf Tournament
On Monday, September 23, the golf tournament gets underway with morning flight registration beginning at 7:30 AM with an 8 AM shotgun start at the Northridge Country Club.
At 11:30 AM afternoon registration with lunch provided by Texas Roadhouse and then an afternoon shotgun start at 1 PM. Entry Fee includes green fee, golf cart, gift package, and lunch. Hole-in-one and prizes awarded.
The 19th Annual Songwriters on the Edge of Texas Golf Tournament and Concert is presented by Greg Orr Auto, Heritage Home, and Hospice, Ledwell and Sons, and Rogers Equipment and Construction.
