Food lovers, it's official! The "Best Burger" has been revealed from the 2025 Annual Arkansas Best Burger Contest.

Arkansas Best Burger- And the Winner is...

According to a press release, the winner was the Big Daddy Burger from Johnson’s Country Cookin' in Melbourne. This burger is a heaping mouthful with three-half-pound beef patties piled high on a toasted brioche bun with triple bacon slices, triple cheese, and a choice of toppings. Oh my! It may well be worth a road trip to Melbourne, in North Central Arkansas, to see if you can handle the Big Daddy Burger.  See other pictures on their Facebook page.

After 2,100 nominations from across the state, the contest was whittled down to the Top 5 Finalists just a few weeks ago by the Arkansas Beef Council, organizers of the 2nd annual state-wide competition. Out of the top five finalists, the Big Daddy Burger had the most nominations overall, taking the top honor in the state.

May - Arkansas Beef Month

The Arkansas Beef Council says this statewide competition celebrates Arkansas restaurants and their commitment to using 100 percent beef in crafting their burgers.  The contest continues to shine a spotlight on local restaurants and beef production from local ranchers who work hard every day to bring their food from farm to table.

“We are excited to recognize this year’s Best Burger in conjunction with Governor Sanders proclaiming May as Arkansas Beef Month,” said Arkansas Secretary of Agriculture Wes Ward.

Last year, the Caveman Burger from Bailey's Family Restaurant in Cave City was the winner of Arkansas' Best Burger Contest.
