Taco Lovers! The battle for the Best Tacos and Salsa in the Ark-La-Tex returns to the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

2025 Taco Wars - The Heat Is On!

This is one fiesta you don't want to miss! Taquerias will be set up around the venue, making fresh, authentic street tacos that festival goers can purchase hot off the grill. This will be a Latino culture community celebration with tacos, sweet treats, cold beer, margaritas, and live music performing throughout the day, including a mariachi band.

Admission: FREE 11 AM - 8 PM

Must Purchase a Ticket for Food

While the event is free, tickets must be purchased for food, drinks, and desserts. Ticket prices will vary at each vendor.

Street Tacos - 3 to 6 tickets
Tasty Treats - 3 to 10 tickets
Margaritas - 10 to 14 tickets
Tequila shots - 8 to 16 tickets
Top Shelf Tequila - 30 to 50 tickets
Sodas, Tea, and other drinks - 3 tickets
Bottled Water - 1 ticket

Each ticket is $1.00 and can be purchased at several kiosks at the festival. All Taco ticket purchases are final; no money will be refunded for unused tickets.

There will be a variety of flavorful street tacos, such as steak, beef, chicken, chorizo, fajitas, carne asada, barbacoa, shrimp, carnitas, and more.

The Tortillas are rolled out and ready for battle at Taco Wars 2025, on Saturday, April 26, from 11 AM to 8 PM at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. This sounds like a road trip to me!
