It's been named the "Arkansas Festival of the Year" for several years now. MusicFest returns to downtown El Dorado for another amazing weekend of music Oct. 2-3. Two days, four stages and more than 30 musical acts featuring 3 Doors Down, Dwight Yoakam, Kid 'N Play, Will Hoge, Whiskey Myers, Jason D Williams, and many more will be performing at south Arkansas' largest outdoor music event.

MusicFest El Dorado boasts its biggest musical lineup yet. Whether you like country, rock, R&B, bluegrass or blues, MusicFest 28 has something for everyone. Festival times are 5PM until midnight on Friday, October 2 and 10AM until midnight on Saturday, October 3.

This small Mississippi town band made their mark signing with Republic Records and went multiple platinum selling 6 million copies of their debut album and hitting the #3 top song in the country with “Kryptonite” that latter went to #1 for six straight weeks and was named song of the year and secured a Grammy nomination for the band.The biggest of its four hits was “When I’m Gone,” which hit No. 1 at Top 40 and Mainstream Rock and No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their 3rd album, “Seventeen Days,” debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and the single “Let Me Go” landed in the top 10.

Their fourth album, 3 Doors Down debuted at No. 1 hitting gold within a month. “It's Not My Time,” topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for three weeks. The fifth album, Time of My Life, debuted at No. 3 when it was released in July 2011.

A Grammy Award-winning artist, worldwide music icon and the 2013 American Artist of the Year, Dwight Yoakam has recorded 12 Gold albums in addition to nine platinum or multi-platinum albums, including the triple-platinum This Time.
