aaronwatson.com[/caption]Texas country artist Aaron Watson is coming to Music Country USA in New Boston, TX Thursday, August 22. Doors open at 6:30 concert starts at 7:30 p.m.This native Texan was born and raised in Amarillo and now calls Abilene his home.  Watson has been playing his brand of country music for more than 12 years but a year ago, Watson he almost gave it up. Watson and his wife lost their newest daughter, Julia Grace, just shortly after her birth and it really took it's toll on the lone star legend from Amarillo.

"I thought the last thing I want to do is make music, to get up there and sing." Watson said, God, I don't think I can do this. If music is what you need me to do, then I need some help. Because I can't write a song to save my life.'  And over the next month I wrote a record like it was no big deal and I think it's my best one yet.

The inspiration was a new album "Real Good Time" and it was a testament to the power of music to help lift us out form our lowest moments and bring joy and salvation. Watson gives all the glory to God, but it's also the result of a long successful career inspired by his musical heroes George Strait, Chris Ledoux, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.

After seven #1 singles on the Texas Music Chart and 4 albums that debuted on the Billboard charts this country singer from Texas is ready to stay.
