ABC’s New Bachelor Could Fall in Love with Arkansas Woman

Could we see the Bachelor franchise make a stop in Arkansas for hometown visits when Arie Luyendyk Jr. looks for love next season?

Hold onto your roses because a new season of The Bachelor premiers on January 1 on ABC at 7 p.m. Arie Luyendyk Jr., who previously competed for love on the show, will be returning to turn the tables and find love among 29 women. Of those women is a beauty from Weiner, Arkansas.

Tia will be vying for Arie's roses come January.

ABC has revealed the list of women on the 22nd edition of The Bachelor. Our home-state favorite, Tia is 26 years old and is a physical therapist. To take it a step further, Tia isn't the only one from the Ark-La-Tex. Lauren S is from Dallas, Texas and Lauren J is from New Roads, Louisiana.

If you recognize Arie, it's because he competed on The Bachelorette season 8. He was one of many men looking for the love of then-contestant, Emily Maynard. She ultimately chose Jef Holm to receive her final rose.
