Suspect Arrested in Hooks, TX for Abduction of 15-Year-Old Girl

Yesterday evening, many of you may have been traveling home when your phone received an Amber Alert about a 15-year-old missing girl in Brownwood, Texas.

Suspect Arrested For Abduction of 15-Year-Old Girl

Thanks to the Hooks Police Department for being on the lookout on July 9, 2025, when out on patrol, they spotted a white Mercury sedan that matched the description of the Amber Alert. According to the Bowie County Citizens Tribune, police intercepted the vehicle on I-30 in Hooks at the 209-mile marker, where Officer Zachary Baker pulled it over.

Police arrested the alleged suspect, identified as 28-year-old Cody Louis Kille of Annville, PA, for child abduction. According to KSLA, Dahlia Creek, a 15-year-old white female, was last reported to be wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a red scarf with a multicolored backpack.

Suspect Booked on Kidnapping Charges

The alleged suspect, Kille, was charged with carrying an unauthorized weapon and kidnapping charges and booked into the Bi-State Justice Center Jail. The 15-year-old girl will be returned safely to her parents while other charges are pending with the Brownwood Police Department.
