Turkey Day is right around the corner, and with it comes all that food. As much as we look forward to the wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, here's a great way to kick off the day and your metabolism. It's the 11th Annual Turkey Trot in Texarkana.

Community Healthcore Foundation is hosting its Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. This is a 5K for adults but kids can join in the fun with the Kid's Fun Dash.

When and Where is The Turkey Trot in Texarkana?

Of course, all the fun takes place on Thanksgiving morning at Spring Lake Park, located at 4303 N Park Rd in Texarkana, Texas. Registration starts at 7:30 AM, and the race begins at 8:30 AM.

How do I Register for the 5k?

You will need to register for the Turkey Trot and the Kid's Fun Dash by Friday, November 22 at 11:59 PM you can register online here.

The 5K race and Kids Fun Dash will be over around 10 AM, giving you plenty of time to finish up preparing for your Thanksgiving dinner plans.

Who Does The Turkey Trot Benefit?

the proceeds from this event will go towards Community Healthcore Foundation. The funds will be used in various ways including client services, unmet needs, and other assistance without a funding source.
