Another Texarkana Restaurant Closes Its Doors For Good

Looks like another great restaurant has closed its doors for good in Texarkana. If you have been downtown then you know and hopefully you were able to check this super cool and unique restaurant out before it closed.

We are sad to report that the Flying Crow in downtown Texarkana is permanently closed. Chef Samantha Tompkins posted on the Flying Crow's Facebook page that this past Saturday, October 30 was sadly its final day of operation. She said opening the restaurant was a dream come true it just wasn't a dream that was sustainable. She announced her future plans and projects on the Flying Crow Facebook page.

It's sad to see this happen when downtown is just starting to come to life but the timing just obviously wasn't right. We know Chef Samantha do well in her future adventures.

She did mention that new tenants will be moving in soon and will open with a new concept. Here's to hoping the next tenants will have success in this great and so unique location. There is no word yet on who the new tenants are and what they will bring to downtown Texarkana but as soon as we know we will definitely let you know!
