Arkansas Couple Wins $75,000 on Arkansas Scratch-off Ticket
A Houston, Arkansas, woman’s unexpected stop during a snowy day in Little Rock turned into a life-changing moment when she won a $75,000 top prize playing the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

Sara Coon claimed her prize on Feb. 2 at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center after winning big on the $3 scratch off game called Jumbo Bucks Bingo. Coon, who is a daily lottery player, purchased the winning ticket last Friday at Highway 10 One Stop on Highway 10 while she was running errands with her boyfriend.
A Lucky Turn of Events in the Snow in Arkansas
The couple had just been helping a friend get a car out of the snow and decided to stop at a nearby gas station on the way to an appointment, something Coon said wouldn’t have happened otherwise. She picked her favorite game and scratched the ticket while riding in the car.

The $75,000 "Pull Over" Moment for Arkansas Scratch-off Winner
At first, the win looked small. But she kept scratching, then she said to her boyfriend,
Babe, I need you to pull over.
The ticket was a top prize winner of $75,000. After double-checking the numbers, her boyfriend said he whipped the car around and went back to the store to scan the ticket. That's when they were directed to the ASL Claim Center.
Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Winner Plans for the Future
Coon and her boyfriend told Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials the winnings will help them work toward long-term goals, including starting a business, buying a home and building a secure future for their daughter.
