From Gas Stop to Big Win: Arkansas Woman Wins $77,777 on Scratch-Off
Talk about a stroke of good luck. I've always heard that 7 is a lucky number. If you don't believe me, ask Arkansas Pulaski resident M. Butler, who recently won $77,777 on July 7 in a new $5 instant scratch-off game called Red, White and Blue 7s. How weird is that?
It's All About The 7s, Baby!
She bought the winning ticket last weekend at Road Runner #15 at $500 Broadway in Little Rock during her normal routine when stopping to get gas. According to the press release, Butler has been a long-time weekly lottery player, having won $1,000 and $5,000 prizes before. She normally plays the games Psychedelic Payout or 200X the Cash, but on this trip, she opted for the new Red White & Blue 7s scratch-off game, and it paid off big time.
She had no idea that the top prize was worth $77,777 until she got home and realized just how much it would pay. At first, she thought it was a prank, but after scanning her ticket through the Arkansas Lottery + Club app, it revealed she was indeed the winner and was instructed to visit the ASL Claim Center.
Butler plans on using the money to help her family. By the way, two more $77,777 top prizes remain. Will you be next?
