The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana recently announced the  2025 Academic All-Star, along with outstanding members of the faculty, staff and alumni at the Arkansas Community Colleges Conference that took place in Hot Springs.

Congratulations to Aubrey Ferguson. She was recognized as the 2025 Academic All-Star. Students from 22 community colleges across Arkansas were honored and awarded full-tuition transfer scholarships to any Arkansas public four-year university. All totaled, it was a combined value of more than $500,000 in scholarships awarded to students during the conference.

During her time at UAHT, Ferguson has been a true example of leadership and achievement. According to a press release, she served as President of the Student Government Association (SGA), received the AB & Pauline King Scholarship, was named to the Vice Chancellor’s Honor Roll twice, and earned both the Dean’s Emerging Leader Award and the 2025 TRiO Achiever of the Year honor.

Once she completes her studies at UAHT, Aubrey plans on transferring to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. There, she wants to major in psychology and pursue a doctorate, and become a therapist or counselor.
