Be a Superhero for Kids in Our Community this Holiday Season
How would like to be a superhero to our community? It's easy, the Miller County Sheriff's Office has donned their capes and need your help to benefit the MCSO deputies and kids program with a Superhero Raffle.
You could win a brand new M&P 45 handgun by Smith & Wesson with 50 rounds of ammo from Paul's Pawn and Gun located at 2609 East 9th Street. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each or 5 tickets for $20 from any Miller County Sheriff's Deputies. The drawing is set for Friday, December 11 and you do not have to be present to win. Paul's Pawn and Gun will also be doing the drawing live on their Facebook page that day. For more details about the gun raffle please contact Lt. Kathy Hillis at 870-774-3001 ext. 107.
In addition, the MCSO started their No-Shave November promotion on November 1, with 26 people raising funds for the Deputies and Kids. Special thanks go out to Sheriff Jackie Runion, his deputies, administrative staff member along with Fouke Mayor Terry Purvis, Mark Luckett from J&E Bonding, and Nelson Bui of Thomas Bui and Sons Heating and Air.
As part of the MCSO Deputies and Kids program, you're encouraged to donate a new unwrapped toy, shoes, clothing, and other necessities that will go toward helping a family in need during the holiday season. Donation boxes have been set up at our local flea markets or you can drop off a donation at the Miller County Sheriff's Office located at 2300 East Street. Donations can also be picked up by deputies just contact Lt. Kathy Hillis at 870-774-3001 ext. 107 to arrange your pick up.
