A Few Things to Remember at the Jefferson Candlelight Tour of Homes.

1. Dress for the weather. You might be standing in line outside for a while.

2. Friday and Saturday are the busiest. If you plan to visit all the houses in one evening, use the time wisely. Between travel time to the houses and waiting in line, start as early as you can! It may take you the full four hours to see all the houses.

3. Do not linger too long in these homes and stay with your group. There are a lot of people trying to see these homes, and only a certain number of people can be in the homes at the same time.

4. Respect the homeowners and their neighborhoods. There can be a lot of traffic. Be aware of other properties and their driveways. Don't block driveways or traffic.

Follow these few suggestions and believe me, you will have an amazing time!

Grab a coat, gather your friends, and head to Jefferson—because this holiday tradition is every bit as magical as people say it is.
