Get ready to lace up your running shoes and shine a light of hope during the 2nd Annual Be the Light 5K benefiting Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.
This special glow race will bring families, friends, and supporters together to raise awareness and provide encouragement for families navigating the NICU journey. Whether participants choose to walk or run, the event is a meaningful way to celebrate the strength, resilience, and love that surrounds NICU families every day.

The event will be held on the CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital campus in Texarkana and welcomes participants of all ages. Along with the fun glow-race, the evening will also serve as an opportunity to recognize both current and former NICU families and the unique paths they have traveled.
Following the race, everyone will gather for a moving candle release ceremony in remembrance of babies whose lives, though brief, continue to shine brightly in the hearts of their loved ones.

The event is about more than crossing a finish line. It is about standing beside families during some of life's most challenging moments and reminding them they are not alone.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Fearfully and Wonderfully Made and its mission of supporting NICU families throughout the community.
These Precious Babies Can Be So Tiny
Have you ever seen a diaper for a NICU baby? Below is a photo of a diaper for a baby up to 2 lbs. It's smaller than your computer mouse.
