Arkansas’ Newest Big Bass Pro Shops Set to Open in 2026

Great news for those who love the great outdoors. According to a report from KNWA, it's just been announced that another Big Bass Pro Shops is coming to Arkansas.

The new 70,000 square feet will be constructed in Fort Smith, Arkansas on Rogers. Avenue with plans to open the store in early 2026.

This has been in the works since 2023 after the Fort Smith Board of Directors voted on a rather large-scale retail known as Project X. As part of the deal a non-closure agreement had to be signed between the interested parties. Johnny Morris, the founder and conservationist of Bass Pro Shops released a statement on Big Bass Pro Shops coming to Fort Smith.

“We are honored to open our newest location in the Natural State and are grateful for the opportunity to serve the many passionate sportsmen and women in this beautiful region."

According to the report, this project is an endeavor from Pradco Outdoor Brands and the Westphal Companies a developmental group from the region.

This will mark the third Big Bas Pro Shop in Arkansas, the other locations are in Little Rock at 1 Bass Pro Drive and, Bentonville - Rogers at 2300 S. Promenade Blvd in Northwest Arkansas.
