Arkansas Heritage’s three downtown Little Rock museums will participate in the Big Boo!seum Bash from 5:30PM to 8:30PM Thursday, Oct. 24. This will certainly be worth the drive!

According to a press release, The Greater Little Rock Museums and Attractions Consortium coordinates the Big Boo!seum Bash, an evening designed to give families a fun, safe trick-or-treating experience at nine downtown Little Rock attractions.Historic Arkansas Museum, Mosaic Templars Cultural Center and the Old State House Museum have plenty of treats and activities in store for visitors this year.

 

Historic Arkansas Museum (200 E. Third St.)  - Historic Arkansas Museum’s activities include a walk around its haunted Historic Grounds, a Twinkie-walk, readings from a fortuneteller and plenty of Halloween games.

 

Mosaic Templars Cultural Center (501 W. Ninth St.)  -  Mosaic Templars Cultural Center will unveil its newest game, ghost bowling, and many other favorites, like face painting and monster golf, will return as well. For those with food sensitivities, MTCC and its onsite partner, Little Rock Central High School, offer non-food treats along with the traditional candy.

 

Old State House Museum (300 W. Markham St.)  - In celebration of its new fair-themed

exhibit, the Old State House Museum will have carnival type games and prizes to entertain trick-or-treaters.  The museum partners with the Arkansas Secretary of State’s office to provide candy and other treats.

Visitors are encouraged to dress in costumes and to visit as many locations as possible. Visitors who get stamps from all nine locations are eligible to win an electronic tablet.

The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau and the North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau sponsor the annual Big Boo!seum Bash.
