Texarkana Halloween Weekend Event Guide: Haunted Houses, Festivals & Trunk-or-Treats

Halloween is Saturday! It doesn't land on a weekend very often, and, wouldn't you know, we have a good chance of rain. But that's okay; a little rain won't stop all the fun events this weekend. There may be a few who will reschedule, so please keep up to date with the Facebook pages we have highlighted.

West 7th Street Fear and Fall Fest House of Horror - Friday & Saturday

Gateway Farmers' Market - Saturday

Gateway Farmers Market (Arkansas side) open 7 AM to noon. Find fresh vegetables, local honey, farm-fresh eggs, baked goods, homemade jellies & Jams, crafts and more. Located at 602 East Jefferson in Texarkana, Arkansas. 

Ark-La-Tex Hunt and Harvest Fest - East Broad, Downtown Texarkana

Great fun for the kids with bounce houses, pop-up skate experience, games and more from 12 noon to 6 PM on East Broad Street. There will also be spirit walks later in the evening from 6 PM to 9 PM. . More details on the Facebook events page.

Downtown Fall Festival & Carnival - Downtown Texarkana - Postponed

Due to possible bad weather, this event has been postponed to Saturday, November 7 from 11 AM to 7 PM at Front Street Plaza with trick-or-treating beginning at 3 PM. Kids can enjoy pumpkin painting, a dunking booth and carnival rides. More details at Front Street TXK Foodie & Festivals  

College Hill Fall Festival

5:30 PM to 9 PM. Several businesses are coming together for a great night of fun and trick-or-treating for the kids!  Located at East Street Pawn and Jewelry, 502 East St., Texarkana, Arkansas.

Texarkana, Texas Elks Lodge - Trunk or Treat

Dress the kids up for the Costume contest with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, kids' activities. Plus a Chili Cook-off with 1st prize and People's Choice awards. This is rain or shine. In case of rain the event will all be moved indoors. Starts at 6 PM. Located at  3702 New Boston Road in Texarkana, Texas.

Texarkana Arkansas Elks Lodge - Truck or Treat

Kids will love the candy, face painting, and of course more candy. Plus free hot dogs for the kids too. 4 PM to 6 PM. Located at 4701 Garland Ave. Texarkana, Arkansas. More details at their Facebook page.
