[UPDATE]

From the Arlington, Texas PD Facebook Page:

We (Arling Police) received information that the suspect, 31-year-old Joshua Lee Green, may be here in #ArlingtonTX.
This morning, a multi-agency team, including APD officers who are members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, located Mr. Green at a hotel in the 4000 block of Scots Legacy Drive. After a brief foot pursuit, he was apprehended and taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
Mr. Green has been arrested on one count of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer.
We're proud of the joint effort between our local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to get this suspect in custody -- and we wish the deputy a speedy recovery!

Blue Alerts are a relatively new thing we have recently been getting on our phones, the definition here is supplied by Google:

A statewide alert sent after a police officer is killed, seriously injured, or missing after an interaction with a suspect who is on the run.

You probably got a Blue Alert on your phone late last night after a deputy was shot in Clay County, Texas, which is just east of Wichita Falls in the northern part of the state. Thankfully, we are happy to report that his ballistic vest stopped the bullet, and he was released from the hospital last night.

Now the search is on for a white male driving the vehicle described below with fictitious tags on it. It’s also probably got a broken rear window and bullet holes in it. If you see it, please call 911.

Here is what we know so far:
