Brad Paisley's brand new album is called Moonshine in the Trunk and he is heading out on his tour around the country soon. On a recent radio tour stop, he played his own version of the Derek and the Dominos' (that was fronted by Eric Clapton) song "Layla." Halfway through the song, Paisley asks if anyone remembers the third verse to the song and I had to think about it for a minute. Was there a third verse?

Brad actually skipped the second verse and shortened the guitar brake. It sounds a lot like the stripped-down performance that appeared on Clapton's 1992 album, Unplugged.

In case you don't remember what the original Derek and the Dominos version sounds like, here it is from 1992.

This is the stripped down version from 1992.
