A brand new festival will be in historic Hot Springs, Ark., on April 22-23, 2016. "Buffalo Days" represents the six American Bison that escaped from a Hot Springs farm in 2015. Yeah, it's a reason to party.

It took law enforcement officials and animal experts 26 days to find the Bison that were being reported spotted all over eastern Hot Springs and in neighborhoods surrounding the Spa City. The missing Buffalo even received national and international attention from the media.

So in the roaming buffaloes' honor, the very first Buffalo Days festival kicks off at the Bank of the Ozarks Arena on Friday evening, April 22, with a concert from Hot Springs native and nationally syndicated radio host Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots. Other performers will include former Voice contestant Barrett Baber, former American Idol contestant Lauren Alaina, new country artist Mo Pitney and Uncle Kracker.

On Saturday April 23, the festivities move to Baxter Plaza behind the Bank of the Ozarks Arena.

Events planned for Saturday include:

10AM - the Oklahoma Fancy Dancer Workshop (Native American)

10:30AM - a concert from country duo Dixie Jade

Noon Hooping with Katie Sunshine

2PM - Hooping with Katie Performance

2:30PM - Wooly Whiskers- Beard and Mustache Contest

3:30PM - Oklahoma Fancy Dancer Performance

5PM - Running of the Buffaloes

Here are some videos of the performers scheduled for Friday April 22.
