Arkansas Town to Hosts Largest Hot Air Balloon Festival in the South

One of the largest Hot Air Balloon Festivals in the South is coming to Arkansas on Friday, August 29, and Saturday, August 30, 2025.

2nd Annual Camden Hot Air Balloon Festival

This will mark the second year for the 2nd Annual Camden Hot Air
Balloon Festival, presented by Highland Industrial Park. After its successful inaugural run in 2024, this year promises to be even bigger and better for festival-goers.

This exciting event will be held at the Camden Airport at 5:30 PM on both days. Bring the family out for an unforgettable experience with live entertainment, food, and craft vendors, a kids zone, and a balloon glow featuring some of the most stunning hot air balloons to grace the Arkansas skies over Camden. Admission is only $20 per car.

Festival Highlights - What to Expect

• Tethered Balloon Rides – Take a ride 50 feet in a real hot air balloon for a breathtaking view of the festival grounds.
• The Glow Show – Watch in amazement as 10 balloons illuminate the evening sky in a synchronized 45-minute display reminiscent of floating Chinese lanterns.
• Live Entertainment – Featuring performances by local and regional musical acts.
• Kid Zone – Rock wall climbing, inflatables including a giant slide and bounce house, and other family-friendly attractions.
• Food and Craft Vendors – Enjoy a wide variety of local eats and handmade goods from vendors across the region.
