It's a busy weekend with Mother's Day and so many great events are going on in Texarkana. Take your mom and the family to any of these six events going on Friday, May 10 through Sunday, May 12.
Downtown Live in Downtown Texarkana
Enjoy an evening of art, music and shopping at Downtown Live in Texarkana tonight May 10. There will also be carriage rides and the Imagine the Possibilities tour. This is a great chance to check out some of the shops in the area too. Several shops and galleries will stay open later in the evening. Texarkana's Largest Indoor Garage Sale
It's like a garage sale only much bigger! It all takes place at the Four States Fairgrounds Entertainment Center. Starting at 7 AM and going on til 1 PM. Find your treasures and bargains at over 75 booths! $3 admissions, kids 12 and under are free.
Texarkana Farmers Market & Gateway Farmers Market
Both Texarkana farmer markets are in full swing for the season. Arkansas side Gateway Farmers Market at 602 East Jefferson Avenue is open Saturday morning from 7 AM to noon and the Texarkana Farmers' Market located downtown Texarkana by the post office is open from 8 AM to Noon.
Summer Awakening Viking Festival
It all takes place Saturday and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM both days. This is a family-friendly event. Kids 10 and under are free. Axe throwing, strong man games, children's games and more. It takes place at the Dancing Ranch Farm 490 Miller County Road 218 in Fouke, Arkansas.
Texarkana Dragon Races
