Christmas Parade Applications Being Taken

Main Street Texarkana is taking applications for the 28th Annual Christmas Parade to be held on Monday December 3rd at 7 p.m.The parade, lead by three camels, travels the two states of Texarkana, ending at the downtown Post Office. This year's theme is "Spirit of Giving" and will offer those in attendance to bring donations of canned food and new unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. Drop off locations will be at the Post Office and at the Texarkana, Arkansas Front Street Festival Plaza.

There is no fee to enter: however, the Parade Selection Committee reserves the right to accept entries for the parade. All floats and entries must be lighted. First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded in three categories: non-commercial, commercial, and marching units.
