The 40th annual Main Street 2024 Texarkana Christmas Parade is scheduled for Monday, December 2, at 7 p.m.

2024 Texarkana Christmas Parade

This year's theme is “Christmas Through the Years”  featuring over 100 lighted floats, school bands, lighted vehicles, motorcycles, and the main attraction, Santa Claus. Floats will be judged if desired so the more creative you are at decorating your float the better chance you have of winning.

If you plan on participating please download an entry form and submit it with a payment online at  mainstreettexarkana.org/christms-parade.

 “We are excited about this year’s theme as it was chosen by the public during a recent Downtown Live,” says Main Street Texarkana director, Ina McDowell.

Live Concert Downtown

Come downtown early on parade day for a special concert sponsored by the Quality Hill Neighborhood Association. Sofie and the New Relics will be performing from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Loading Dock stage on Front Street. Their music is a mix of country, folk, and classic rock and has been influenced by artists Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, Fleetwood Mac, and Journey. The band formed in October 2023 won the 2024 Young Artist Year Award by the Arkansas Country Music Hall of Fame.
