And then there was FOUR! Talking about of course, American Idol sending home country singer Janelle Arthur Thursday night.That now leaves Angie Miller, Amber Holcomb, Candice Glover, and the other country girl Kree Harrison to compete with one another.

Former Idol judge Paula Abdul made a special appearance on the show and congratulated the judges on picking this year's talent and America "for getting it right." According to EW.com Janelle said “I thought they were going to use the save, just not on me,”. She also shared what she told fellow contestant Candice Glover before they walked onstage at the beginning of Thursday’s taping: “This is the deal: I’m going home. They’re not gonna save me, but I love you.”

As for Arthur's future in country music she says, “It’s definitely gonna be on the traditional side. I wanna stay with my roots,” Arthur said. “There’s enough pop country out there.”
