From cancer patient to country music artist, Darren Warren is kicking butt and taking names.

Everything changed for Darren when a lump was noticed under his chin during the fall of 1998.

At age 16, Darren Warren was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and became a patient at St. Jude's. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is cancer of the lymphoid tissues. While at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Darren underwent more than two years of chemotherapy treatments.

His one saving grace while in the hospital? Music of course! Darren even compiled a whole album while receiving treatment at St. Jude's titled Tears are a Language.

Last year, Darren even joined the Country Cares Seminar and continues to give back to St. Jude's. If you want to read the full article just click here!
