The 2017 Murphy USA Summer Concert Series in El Dorado, Ark., is coming to an end with David Lee Murphy on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 8PM, presented by Main Street El Dorado.

Grammy-nominated country artist David Lee Murphy performs August 26, and will be performing a ton of hits such as his number-one single, "Dust on the Bottle," and "Party Crowd," the most played song in 1995. Murphy is also a very gifted songwriter who has written songs for Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Thompson Square and was nominated for two Grammy Awards and six American Country Music Awards.

The Murphy USA Summer Concert Series will follow El Dorado’s legendary Showdown at Sunset performance at 6PM. This reenactment of the Tucker-Parnell feud will be performed on the steps of the Union County Courthouse with the Showtime Stage's new location at the intersection of Cedar and Jefferson Streets.

Concertgoers are encouraged to spend the weekend in downtown El Dorado, exploring all that’s available within walking distance of the music venue. Restaurants and boutiques line Union Square, many offering specials for Showdown weekend, and there will be plenty of additional festivities during each event.
