Demi Moore Calls it Quits With Ashton Kutcher…Surprised?

We knew it was gonna happen, then we thought...well, maybe they can work it out? Nope, they couldn't. Demi Moore has called it quits with Ashton Kutcher. She told the Associated Press on Thursday that she’s filing for divorce.

Her statement reads:

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”

Really, can you blame her? If you remember, Ashton was caught with a 22 year old the night before his and Demi's sixth wedding anniversary. The woman stated the Kutcher told her he was separated. (Yeah, that's an old one.)

Ashton responded to Moore’s statement on his Twitter feed, saying:

I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK

I know Ashton replaced Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men", but did he really have to take take on Charlie Sheen's womanizing ways too?

In my opinion, cheating is a choice. So whether you're a man or a woman, if you want to cheat on your significant other, do them a favor and just break-up with them first. There would still be a lot of heart ache but at least they wouldn't have to go through the embarrassment and humiliation too.
