🎅Baby & Toddler Toys and Teen Items Needed
🎅Deadline for donations Friday, December 13
The deadline to contribute toys to the Texarkana Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc.’s annual Santa Store is Friday, December 13. They are halfway to their goal of $30,000, but they need more donations to meet their goal to make sure everyone on their list will have a great Christmas.
Items Needed for Teens
James Roberts, executive director of DVP said they are still in need of items for teens from fishing poles to purses. You can drop off new items or give a monetary donation and the staff can do the shopping for what items and age groups are needed.
Toys Needed for Babies and Toddlers
In addition to the items for teens, the Santa Store also needs toys for babies and toddlers under 2. Other items needed are Bluetooth speakers, headphones, bicycles, hair styling tools, and cologne or perfume sets.
The Santa Store is expecting to serve around 300 clients and children. This is a wonderful program where clients can find a little bit of normalcy as they shop for their children in a safe environment. The event will be held at a secure, undisclosed location in the coming days to ensure the privacy and safety of the participants.
Roberts also said,
We would like to truly thank all of those who have already donated or sponsored. We are almost there. The people in this area and the event sponsors have been so generous this year. We are just looking for that little push to get us to where we need to be to make sure every kid that has walked through our doors ends the year on a positive note.

Where to Donate
You can drop off your donations at Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc. located at 424 Spruce Street in Texarkana Texas.
