Downtown Live kicks off the 5th annual Universal Vibe Festival on Friday, November 8-10, in Texarkana brought to you by Main Street Texarkana.

It's a great way to kick off the weekend with art, music, food, and shopping in the heart of the Arts and Entertainment District.

Texarkana's Newest Downtown Store

Speaking of shopping, Texarkana's newest downtown business The Vintage Vibe will open its doors at 6:30 PM at 320 West Broad Street. Musical artist Jacob McAdams will perform just before opening.  The new store features vintage and hip clothing for men and women including Local Lore Apparel and unique vintage gifts. During the event, The Vintage Vibe is offering customers 15 percent off everything in the store.

Other businesses open late on November 8 include Prodigy Lfe at 200 E. Broad, Crystal Moon at 209 E. Broad, Southern Grace at 120 E. Broad, and Hart’s on Broad, which is offering 45 percent off all Fall merchandise and 25 percent off almost everything else. The Stained Page at 115 Main Street hosts musician Crookneck Chandler for the evening.

“We’re excited about all the activity downtown this month,” says Main Street Director, Ina McDowell. “Downtown is a perfect place to be if you're looking for something fun to do.”

So join the fun on Front Street for the 5th annual Universal Vibe Festival featuring art, music, food, belly dancing, yoga, live music, and more downtown from 6 PM until 8 PM on Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10, weather permitting.

Activities for all ages: from free arts and crafts, Orbi pools, and a Girl Scouts Scavenger Hunt to crystal digging and face painting with Spinner Entertainment

See an impressive craft of Chain Saw artist MM Wood Works, participate in Swag Bag Bingo, enjoy adorable puppy parades, get creative with temporary tattoos, capture memories at the Grin + Spin 360 Photo Booth.

Watch Doc Garner's Marvels of Magic, meet Bluey and Bingo with Toddler Town TXK, see incredible Stilt Walkers, enjoy the famous sunset bubble party, and dance the night away at the LED Dance Party on the Main Stage.
