
Downtown LIVE Returns to Texarkana with Building Tours, Live Music, and Local Art
Main Street Texarkana announced that Downtown LIVE will return on Friday, September 11, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Enjoy an evening filled with live music, art, shopping, dining, and a unique look at some of downtown's revitalization projects.
You will have the chance to tour several downtown buildings currently being renovated, including Patterson Place and the Arkansas Municipal Auditorium. You'll get a rare behind-the-scenes look at the progress being made in the area.

Local Artists Featured at Main Street Texarkana
The Main Street Texarkana office, located on the first floor of the historic Landmark Building at East Broad Street and State Line Avenue, will host an open house featuring artwork from local artists.
Ina McDowell, the Main Street Texarkana Executive Director, said in a press release,
We are so excited to feature 3 Texarkana artists: Element Rose, Divine, and Steve the Artist, as a way of welcoming the public to our new office.
Museums, Music, and Community
Downtown LIVE was created through a partnership between downtown businesses and local creatives, helping bring the energy, activity and excitement back to the heart of our city. Drexler John along with other musicians, will be performing outside, while you and your friends can enjoy the local shops, restaurants, and live art demonstrations. Eagle Bourbon and Wine Lounge will also offer Happy Hour pricing throughout the evening.

The Museum of Regional History will be open for free self-guided tours from 6 PM to 8 PM, while the historic Ace of Clubs House will offer guided tours at 6 PM and 7 PM. Tickets for the Ace of Clubs tours are available through texarkanamuseums.org.
The evening will also mark the launch of Communities United's Little Doors of Hope initiative. The project combines public art and community outreach by featuring small interactive doors that connect visitors to local resources through QR codes.
