The 2017 version of Sparks in the Park has been set for Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Four States Fairgrounds. Kicker 102.5 is pleased to present the return of the Dusty Rose Band.

The Dusty Rose Band was the featured band last year and has really become a household name around the Ark-La-Tex. "We are excited and pumped to be asked to come back and headline the entire Sparks event this year." said, Jason Springer lead singer of DRB. The Dusty Rose Band has become one of the most requested bands in the Ark-La-Tex playing at venues like the Horseshoe Casino and Diamond Jacks in Shreveport on a regular basis, Hot Springs, and at numerous charity events around town. Over the past few years they have been fortunate to open up for country artists like Chase Rice, Mark Chesnutt, and coming up in July, Jason Boland.

I have personally got to know Jason and the band over the years and I guarantee it's a party anytime these guys take the stage. They really interact with their fan base that continues to grow and their music selection has grown as well. A very diverse band, you'll hear everything from southern rock, country, classic rock and even some blues mixed in, as well as some original tunes. This is one band that really cares about their fans and wants to make sure when you come to see the Dusty Rose Band no matter what age you are, you're gonna have a good time. When you watch a DRB show, you can be rest assured that they will always pay tribute to our fallen heroes, active military, police, firefighters and first responders.

"Sparks in the Park is an all-American celebration,  it's about living in the greatest country on the planet, - "America," said Springer.

That's why it's only fitting to have these guys come back to perform at Sparks in the Park.
