Can you believe it has been 70 years since Elvis came and performed in Texarkana? If you love Elvis don't miss this fun event with music and a guest who will talk about Elvis' performance in the area.
The event is Elvis...The Return is this Saturday, November 16 at the 1923 Banana Club in historic downtown Texarkana.
What is Happening at Elvis...The Return?
You can start the evening with one of two tours offered of the Arkansas Municipal Auditorium where Elvis performed so many years ago. The first one is at 4:15 PM and the second tour is at 5 PM.
Stories of Elvis' Performances in Texarkana & Dinner From The Presley Cookbook
Then join the fun with a special dinner from 6 PM until 7:30 PM plus music and stories from Texarkana's Pat Cupp. You'll hear about his memories from Elvis' performances in Texarkana between 1954 and 1955 as the king honed his style and showmanship. Dinner is $30 and is from the Elvis cookbook. All his favorites are Peanut Butter and Banana sandwich bites, Meatloaf 1/2 and BBQ Pork 1/2 Pizza and of course Banana Pudding and Pepsi.
Elvis Music All Night Long
Then from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM there will be more of great Elvis music performed by Eddie Clendening and the Blue Ribbon Boys. Then special guest Grey Delisel from 9:30 PM to midnight.
