I am a huge fan of summer and Daylight Savings, with that said I'm actually looking forward to going back to Standard Time this weekend. Yes, that is really what I just said.

This weekend we set our clocks back one hour. That means we all get an extra hour. Now, you know you're old when you look forward to that hour because you'll spend it sleeping. Back in my younger days, it meant we could stay out later and if you want to do that then have fun. But I prefer to be like my cat and sleep.

The time will officially change at 2 AM Sunday morning November 6. So remember to change your clocks before you go to bed on Saturday night. Otherwise, you'll be too early or is it too late for church on Sunday?

Remember the saying "Fall Back, Spring Forward"  Set your clocks back one hour.

This is also a great time to check your smoke alarms to make sure they are working. While you are at it just go ahead and change the batteries. You should also change your carbon monoxide alarm batteries too.

So what do you think? Are you ready for us to stop changing the time and once we get back to Daylight Saving in the spring should we just keep it there?
