Express Employment Professionals Kicks Off Their 2018 Food Drive
Express Employment Professionals has kicked off their Food Drive to benefit Harvest Texarkana.
Last year Express managed to collect over 3000 pounds of food to help feed our community and this year they would like to do even better. They need your non-perishable food items to get the donations started.
Non-perishable food items include almost anything in a can, and:
- bottled water
- dry foods (rice, beans, oatmeal)
- Canned vegetables
- Vegetable juice
- Diced tomatoes
- Tomato juice and sauce
- Spaghetti sauce
- Canned fruit (in its own juice)
- Fruit juices
- Dried fruits
- Shelf-stable fruit cups
- crackers
- dry pasta
- cereal (Cheerios, Raisin Bran, etc.)
- Canned tuna, salmon, chicken
- Canned soups
- Canned baked beans,
- Dried and canned beans and peas
- chili
- beef stew
- Peanut butter
- Nuts
- Dry or evaporated milk
