New Family-Owned Restaurant Now Open in Texarkana

Hey Texarkana! The wait is now over. Another new restaurant, Hawkins Grill has opened for business, just off I-30 at 3402 St. Michael Drive.

Texarkana's newest family restaurant is located in the old Johhny Carinos/Larry's Pizza location. Owners Michael and Deborah Stokes are pleased to offer a full-service restaurant that will be serving up a variety of great food and drinks. Their menu has been customized to provide a variety of mouth-watering entrees for families to choose from. Hawkins Grill will be offering burgers, seafood, fajitas and quesadillas, fresh-made salads, and some of the juiciest Angus steaks you'll ever sink your teeth into. Oh, did I mention chicken-fried steak?

Come watch the game and enjoy all your favorite beverages in their full-service bar.

Hawkins Grill will be open 7 days a week for dine-in, carryout, and to-go orders. The building has been renovated with new paint and decor. The Stokes have years of experience in the restaurant business and will be carefully choosing the entrees in hopes that customers will keep coming back for more.

The Stokes are hoping that their customers will make this a permanent place for family gatherings in our community. After all, the restaurant's name Hawkins was chosen because a part of the restaurant resides in the Pleasant Grove School District, so hawks came to mind when choosing the name.
