Big Texarkana Restaurant and Live Music Venue Is Calling It Quits
It's way too late in the year to be some kind of April Fool's prank so we have to believe it to be true, another restaurant/live music venue in the Texarkana area is about to close its doors.
The news was posted on Facebook this morning (Monday) a little after 10 AM, stating:
We just want to say a huge THANK YOU to our customers who have supported us! Sadly, this was the last concert at 67 Landing and our FINAL day open wil be Wednesday, November 1st. All food and drinks will be 1/2 off from 4PM until close.
The posting goes on to state that they have no current future plans for the venue/restaurant at this time. Facebook.com
This is a sad day indeed.
Good live music venues are hard enough to come by, but when you have a good restaurant along with it, that's a real shame.
Trey Lewis Saturday night was apparently the last concert event at 67 Landing, and their last night of operation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
I haven't had a chance to make it out to 67 Landing in a while, unfortunately. So I cannot speculate about what has led to the downfall of this particular restaurant, but on a general side note, who can afford to go out to eat more than once or twice a month these days? Most of the better restaurants have gotten so expensive we had to cut way back on dining out in my house. Even fast food places can cost $30 for two people. That's crazy...
Have you had to cut back on eating out in your household?
