Texas Night Sky Lights up – Fireball or Alien Invasion?
Did anyone happen to see the sky light up last night in Texas?
Well, the mysterious incident occurred in three states Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana primarily in the cities of Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, and even as far away in Corpus Christi. There were a few reports in East Texas as well.
According to a report from KHOU-TV in Houston, the sky became very bright around 10:30 PM last night some 200 sightings were reported. Unconfirmed reports say it could be one of three meteor showers going on right now, the Alpha Capricornids, Perseids, and the Southern Delta Aquarids that will peak this weekend. The Aquarids meteor shower doesn't produce a lot of showers but it has a tendency of producing more fireballs instead.
Whatever the case, whether it was a fireball, meteor, or an alien invasion social media was buzzing last night. So, check your door cam or security cam around 10:30 last night to see if maybe it was captured. After seeing the movie, Nope over the weekend, which is about aliens, I immediately thought here they come. LOL
Nothing surprises me anymore after that bizarre red glow in the Atlantic ocean yesterday.
