Owning a pet can be expensive. Here is your chance to get your dog or cat a free rabies vaccination at the 8th Annual Bark at the Park in Texarkana.
This event is set for Saturday, November 2, from 9 AM to noon at the Kylee Sullivan Dog Park in Spring Lake Park, near the Mall Drive entrance.
Free Rabies Shots For Dogs and Cats
At the event, dogs and cats will receive free rabies vaccinations and city registrations. Additional vaccinations will be available for a small fee. All paperwork and vaccinations will be handled on-site. Pet owners are asked to keep their dogs on leashes and their cats in carriers.
This Event is Open to Everyone
This event is open to everyone, even if you live outside the Texarkana Texas city limits.

We're committed to offering these valuable resources to Texarkana and its neighboring communities annually. Our mission is to raise awareness and enhance the well-being of pets and their families in need.
What is Rabies?
Rabies is deadly to both animals and humans, and treatment after exposure can be expensive. Vaccinations are the best way to prevent these diseases and keep your pet safe and healthy. Veterinarians and animal control staff will be on-site to answer questions and offer pet care advice.
