October is almost here. That means cooler temperatures and little ghosts and goblins will be running everywhere with excitement. One of the best events to check out in October is to bring the kids to the Fall Festival at Spring Lake Park and it's Free.

Kids always have a great time and so do the adults. All the fun will take place on Thursday, October 19 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM.

Here's a chance for the kids to dress up in their Halloween costumes and have some fun. There will be costume contests for the kids and pets too.

The kids will have a blast at the bounce houses, hayrides, games, face painting, pumpkin painting and of course, there will be candy.

Then as the sun starts to go down it will be movie time with Movies in The Park.

Around dusk at around 7 PM they'll start the movie The Adams Family 2 on the big screen.

The Adams Family 2 is rated PG and is a fun animated film for the whole family. According to IMDB.com, the film finds our favorite spooky family is about to go on one last family trip.

Morticia and Gomez (are) distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and totally consumed with "scream time." To reclaim their bond they decide to cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation.
