After 15 years, Texas-based Fuzzy's Taco Shop has closed its doors at 4849 Texas Blvd in Texarkana, Texas. This marks the third Texarkana restaurant to close within the last month.

Fuzzy's Taco Shop on the Corner of Texas Blvd and N. State Line Closes

The closing came quickly and surprised the local folks when a statement was posted on their Facebook page, which read.

"To our amazing Fuzzy’s Taco Shop customers, we have enjoyed all of your support for over 15 years in the great town of Texarkana! Our time has come to an end. We truly appreciate your loyalty throughout the years. It’s been a pleasure serving you.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop owners and staff."

After the announcement was made, people took to social media, with one person jokingly commenting that the location would be a Blockbuster video store. After all, if you remember, it was a blockbuster store when the shopping center first opened. How about we call it Fuzzbuster's?

Fuzzy's is renowned for its freshly made Baja tacos and chilled margaritas, and boasts over 150 restaurants nationwide. The location in Nash will still offer all your favorites, including enchilada plates, burrito bowls, quesadillas, chips and cheese dip, and original tacos. The chorizo, egg, and potato taco is probably one of my favorites. And don't forget about Two for Tues-Yay! Every Tuesday, enjoy any taco all day $2.50 for the classic taco or $3.50 for the premium taco. See the menu here.
