Garbage Rates In Texarkana Arkansas May Rise

The Texarkana Arkansas City Board of Directors meets this evening 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.One of the items on the agenda will be considering an ordinance to increase the residential refuse rate and hauled service rates which would mean and increase in the garbage collection rates in the city.

Also the board will see and hear a presentation by City Manager Harold Boldt concerning the upcoming annual " Sparks In The Park" Independence Day Celebration which will be held this year on Saturday June 30th at the Four States Fairgrounds.

The family events include games, music, speeches, & more including the fireworks show at the end of the evenings activities.
