Now that the Christmas season is over, everyone is taking a sigh of relief but also wondering what's next to look forward to. Well, here it is! Get ready for Texarkana's 2023 Mardi Gras celebration.

The fun will all take place in downtown Texarkana on Saturday, February 18 starting at 10 AM. Now is the time to start thinking about a float and enter your group or businesses' float in the Mardi Gras Parade. It's free to enter you just need to register. There will also be space for vendors so if you'd like to rent a space you can do that also for a fee.

Mardi Gras is a fun time for all ages. All day there will be live music plus arts and crafts, food trucks and in past years there have also been some fun contests for the kids. Even a kids parade and a pets parade too earlier in the day.
