Many spend their vacation days on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. If you are planning a trip, you may want to keep track of these Great White Sharks that are in the Gulf now.

The ocean research group "Ocearch" has picked up pings from a couple of Great White Sharks that they tagged near Cape Cod in August of 2013. The group has picked up signals from "Katharine", a 14 foot 2,300 pound Great White, and "Betsy" a 12 foot 1,400 pound Great White in the Gulf of Mexico near Florida. So far Katharine and Betsy have traveled more than 5,000 miles from where they were tagged. Some experts believe their journey will lead them to the beaches of Texas before they are done and return to the northern Atlantic which is believed to be their home waters.
