How would you like to learn about graphic design? You can learn the basics to get you started in a class offered by the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.

This two-night graphic design class will take place on Thursdays, September 11 and 18, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. It will help anyone interested in creating professional-quality designs, and no experience is required.

This hands-on workshop will introduce you to Canva for quick, polished products and Adobe Illustrator for more advanced, scalable designs. You will learn the basic design principles while working on real projects.

The September 11 workshop will focus on Canva. You will learn how to create great social media posts, flyers, and marketing materials that will grab attention. In the second workshop on September 18 you will learn about Adobe Illustrator and create fully customizable graphics that are used for print or digital.

By taking these two classes at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana, you will have a strong foundation in design and the confidence to create visuals for your personal use and professional use too. This workshop is great for someone with a small business, content creators, teachers and anyone wanting to level up on their design skills.

If you plan on taking this class be sure to bring a laptop with a free Canva account and Adobe Illustrator installed, there is a free trial available.
