Have a Safe 4th of July Holiday

Law Enforcement Authorities from around the area hope you have a happy, safe, & lawful 4th of July Holiday Weekend.Police on both sides of Texarkana, as well as the Texas DPS, and the Arkansas State Police are advising drivers to be safe out on the roadways this holiday weekend.

Some agencies will be conducting sobriety checkpoints with extra patrols watching out for potential DWI offenders. If you drink alcoholic beverages, get a designated sober driver to take you home. Also remember to drive the speed limit, obey traffic and construction signs, buckle up, and make sure that children are in their proper safety seats.
