Sparks Will be Flying This 4th of July Near Dallas
America celebrates its Independence in just a few days and since the 4th lands on Sunday this year that gives Americans a long 3-day weekend to party. There is an abundance of firework shows in the North Texas area you may want to check out if you're visiting the Dallas area this holiday.
Frisco's Annual Freedom Fest
July 4th is going to be popping with "Party in the Plaza," beginning at 4 PM with singers, dancers, and live entertainment, and a classic car show. This year Freedom Fest will be honoring professional sports in Frisco, hosted by Sports City, USA. In addition, there will be a children's expo with activities like glitter tattoo artists, airbrushing, rides, and more. The fireworks will highlight the evening at 9:30 PM following the FC Dallas game.

Fort Worth's Fourth of July Celebration
Fort Worth's Fourth features the largest fireworks show in North Texas. This 4th of July celebration will be at Panther Island Pavilion along the shores of the Trinity River. There will be free activities and live country music from the Ray Johnston Band at 6 PM followed by the ultimate party band Party Machine leading up to one phenomenal firework show at 9:30 PM that will light up the night sky. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. A variety of food vendors and drinks will be available for purchase.
